Macon Museum of Arts and Sciences

The Macon Museum of Arts and Sciences’ newly renovated Discovery House is a 1700 square foot exhibit space filled with educational and interactive exhibits. Working with the design firm of Lyons/Zaremba and in close concert with the museum staff Malone design/fabrication strove to create an environment that is both exciting and engaging. Highlights of the exhibit include The Gravity Gizmo, a large Rube Goldberg style device complete with cranks, giant auger screws, dump buckets and brightly colored balls, The Macon Night Sky, which allows the visitor to view the stars over Macon on any given night and The Weather Station, a computerized green screen interactive where the visitor is invited to record their own real time TV weather forecast.
