The CROW Education Center was designed to create communication of its mission, raise awareness, inspire activism, and most importantly give visitors the experience of visiting CROW Wildlife Hospital without ever going there. The goal was to tell CROW’s unique story in an exciting and distinctive way.
CROW has treated almost 300 different species of animals with the goal of releasing them back into the wild. Central to the exhibit in the gallery is a iconic multimedia “tree” sculpture which displays photos and video of the species treated on 17 monitors. Attached to the sculpture is a series of touch screen interactives which allows visitors to learn more about each species and how, or why, they came to CROW for treatment.
