The Capital City Country Club hired Hodges and Hicks General Contractors to renovate their downstairs dining area. Malone was selected as the millwork subcontractor and worked with the entire project team to ensure seamless integration between the new and existing work. This project created a brand new bar space, a new display cooking kitchen, and updated dining and family dining areas. A key feature of the space is a central racetrack style bar built with quarter sawn Sapele, upholstered accent panels, and custom metal work. Malone also provided a new display cooking counter made of black walnut with a Barcelona marble counter top, a custom metal hood shroud, a 21 foot black walnut buffet with marble counter top, new sapele columns, beams, and running trim. Chapman, Coyle, Chapman lead the project as the architect, and the Johnson Studio was the interior designer.
